Master all climbing sites with our Anchor Building climbing course
This course further develops your safety, anchor building skills and climbing techniques. Since not all climbing sites are equipped in the same way, it’s easy to be surprised with unfamiliar and worn out equipment. This can lead to dangerous situations. You’ll learn how to identify proper protection gear, creating anchors on fixed points and abseiling safely and independently. And since we’ll be climbing above the sea, you’ll also learn how to belay a climber from the top. This will be a first step into the discipline of multi-pitching. We’ll start the day by covering all the basic theory and then head to our routes over the ocean in the afternoon. Once here, you’ll test your knowledge and skills on what will surely be an unforgettable experience. *Prerequisite: Completion of Level 2 or consent of your outdoor program coordinator.
