Our Lead Climbing Course will turn you into an autonomous climber
Our Lead Climbing course is designed to equip you with all the necessary skills to become an independent lead climber; arguably the most exciting step in a climber’s path!
It takes place over two days in two different climbing sites
This will ensure you’ll have diversity in your training and in the overall experience.
The first day starts with theory and mock practice in Lagos. This will include learning about types of equipment and its uses, knots, belaying practice, cleaning anchors and much more.
You’ll be going to our beginners site after lunch to apply the lessons learned in a controlled and non-intimidating environment.
The second day is totally spent on the rocks in one of our grand climbing sites. You can count on scenic climbing routes, where you’ll keep learning how to lead climbs, placing gear, falling, as some vital rope manoeuvres.
If successful, you’ll be able to climb autonomously with a friend at any sport crag in the world!
*Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1 or consent of your outdoor program coordinator.
